Please call Gayle Noonan for the exact start
date and the areas in which the vegetation crew will be working.
It is requested that the Office of Mined Land Reclamation schedule
its vegetation sampling to coincide with CYCC's sampling episode so
that the Office's sampling verification can be completed in a
timely manner.
The vegetation sampling has been completed at Mine 2, and I would
suggest that the Office schedule a visit in the near future to
verify CYCC's sampling program. Given the Office's experience with
CYCC's program it is recommended that this verification can be done
while observing the above sampling at Mine 3, and then going to
Mine 2 to sample as per the requirements of the Office. Likewise,
CYCC can advise of the sampling that will be conducted later in the
summer at Mine 1 and Eckman Park.
If there are questions, please contact Marcus Middleton or Gayle
Noonan during the period of July 5th through the 16th, as I will be
out of the office.
Si cerel ~I~'~G~'I/r
Richard Mills i
Supervisor, Environmental Affairs
