Box 2290 <br />Denver, CO 80201 <br />OF ep~ <br />N~~ <br />.~ ` <br />r8'!6 ~ <br />Roy ROmer <br />Governor <br />techael B Lang <br />D rvision Direclo~ <br />Re: Financial Warranty Possible Violation for File No. M-77-436 and M-87-049 <br />Withdrawal Notice <br />Dear Mr. Lansing: <br />On December 15, 1993, the Colorado Hined Land Reclamation Board approved your <br />request to withdraw consideration of the possible violation of C.R.S. 34-32- <br />117(6)(a) for failure to maintain the Financial Warranty. <br />This matter was withdrawn with the understanding that your company would file the <br />necessary documents and financial warranties to properly secure the reclamation <br />bonds on these operations. In order to avoid a rehearing on this matter you must <br />provide Deborah Mulloy with the following documents so that your operation meets <br />all of the applicable requirements of C.R.S. 34-32-101 et eea• and the Hineral <br />Rules and Regulations of the Hined Land Reclamation Board: <br />(1) The properly completed and notarized Financial Warranty Corporate Surety <br />form, one for each permitted operation <br />(2) The executed corporate sureties in the following amounts: $125,250 to bond <br />M-87-049 and $12,000 to bond H-77-436 <br />These documents moat be submitted as soon as possible and no later than January <br />5, 1994 ea that they may be processed. If these requirements are not fulfilled <br />in a timely manner, this Office will issue another Reason to Believe letter <br />citing a possible Financial Warranty violation. This may require another <br />appearance before the Board at their January Heetinq.
