Long <br />Division Dnecror <br />RE: Munger Canyon Mine (C-81-020); Transfer of Permit Rights <br />Dear Mr. Holbrook: <br />Pursuant to Rule 2.08.6(6) of the Regulations of the Colorado Mined <br />Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, this letter is to notify <br />the Office of Surface Mining of the Division's decision to <br />conditionally approve Grand Valley Coal Company's request to <br />transfer permit rights for the Munger Canyon Mine. Enclosed are <br />copies of the signed Request for Transfer of Coal Permit and <br />Succession of Operator, the Division's Findings in regard to the <br />request, and the approval notice for your files. <br />There are five audit appeals pending between Grand Valley Coal <br />Company's parent company, Adobe Mining, and the OSM. The Division <br />needs documentation of the satisfactory resolution of each of the <br />five appeals filed by Adobe Mining.
