CO 80235 m¢hael B. long <br />Diviswn Director <br />Re: Dahlia North Reservoir Pit, Permit No. M-94-093, Succession Approval, Revision No. SO-001 <br />Dear Mr. Mergens: <br />On January 6, 1999, the Division of Minerals and Creologv approved the succession of operators from Cooley Gravel <br />Company to CAMAS Colorado, Inc. for the Dahlia North Reservoir Pit, Permit No. M-94-093. CAMAS Colorado. <br />Inc. is now the permitted operator of the Dahlia North Reservoir Pi[, and as such, is responsible for all provisions <br />in Permit No. M-94-093, as well as those specified in the Rules and Regulations. Cooley Gravel Company is <br />relieved of all responsibilities concerning this operation. <br />Please Note: <br />I. All of the application materials, as amended and supplemented are an integral part of your permit. They <br />have been incorporated into the permit by reference. We prestune that +'ou have a copy of all of these materials; <br />therefore. none have been enclosed with this mailing. We suggest that you keep a copy of the permit and the permit <br />application at the mining operation as a reference for operating personnel, to help ensure compliance with the terms <br />of the permit. <br />2. Changes in the minutg and reclamation operations that differ from those described in the permit may require <br />a modification to the pemvt. We suggest consulting the Rules and Regulations and/or contacting us to determine <br />if a modification to the permit is necessary. Rule 1. IO pertains to Amendments, Rule 1.9 to Technical Recisions, <br />and Rule L 1 l to Conversions. <br />3. On your permit anniversary date (December 31) each year, you must submit an annual fee ($~?0.00) and <br />annual report to us. Please consult the Rules, Act, and your permit for specific requirements. <br />The estimated liabilin~ amount of -$744.000.00 for the Dahlia North Reservoir Pit. when added to the exls[ing <br />liabihty amount of$744,000.00, exceeds the performance bond held. If you have not aUeady done so, please submit <br />additional bond in the amount of -$744.000.00.
