PUBLIC NOTICE Energe Fuels Coal Inc. (EFCT), P.O. Box 459, 1190 County- Road 92, Florence, Colorado 51226, has filed an application for revision of approaed mimng and reclamation plans for the Southfield T`~Gne. The approved Division of Minerals and Geologt~ (DMG) permit, Pemtit No. C-81-014, addresses extstittg underground coal mining and related surface operations and reclamation activities. The proposed revision, Technical Revtston No. 30 (I'R-30), addresses the proposed nunor expansion of the extstutg refuse pile. Areas to be effected by- the proposed plan revision are located m Fremont County. The South Geld bGne area is located approximately seven miles south of Florence, Colorado, on Counq~ Road 92. The mine area is bounded on the south and west by the base of the Wet Dlountains, and Newlin Creek btseas the [rune area from southwest to northeast. The Southfield loadout area is located approximately one mile west of Florencr, Colorado, nn County Road 1lA and the Santa Fe Railroad spur Gne. The loadout area is bounded rnr the north by Chandler Creek, and on the south b}' Oak Creek. The Southfield Dhne area is located on the folloa~ng sections: Township T20S. Range R69\\~ Sections 19, 30, and 31 Township T20S. Range R70\C~ Sections 23, 24, 25, and 26 The Southfield Loadout Area is located on the following Secnons: Townshtp T19S. R69\C' Secnons 17 and ]8 These sections are covered b}' the U.S. Geological Sun-ev 7.5 nunute Rockz•ale (D'Gne Area) and Canon Gry (Loadout Area) quadrangles.
