III IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
999
The Pittsburg & Midway Coal Mining Co.
A Chevron Company
Edna Mine
P.O. Box 176, Oak Creek, CO 80467
(303)736-8111
Ms. Susan Morrison
CDMG
1313 Sherman St.
Room 215
Denver, CO 80203-2273
June 28, 1993
Dear Ms. Morrison,
This letter serves as a written request for an extension to the
abatement date of July 4, 1993 for N.O.V.'s C-93-025 and C-93-026.
P&M is requesting a 60 day extension to September 2, 1993 on both
of these Notices of Violations.
Rule 5.03.2 of the Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land
Reclamation Board for Coal Mining allows for extensions to be
granted of up to 90 days on abatement deadlines. These extensions
are needed to allow time for field work following approvals of
Technical Revision numbers 23 and 25. These two revisions were
turned in as abatement steps for the N.O.V's and have yet to be
approved. P&M requested an extension on June 16, 1993 for N.O.V.
C-93-024 for similar reasons.
Should you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact
me at the Edna Mine site.
Sincerely,
David Beverlin
Resident Engineer
i`.E I,V ~ ~~`
~F~
JUL O1 1993
