Establish a process to <br />authorize disposal of materials by Mid-Continent Resources/Pitkin <br />Iron contingent on BLM and DMG requirements such as reclamation, <br />site clean-up, bonding, etc. <br />Status of Upper East Quarry: <br />*Non-use since 1978 <br />*Reclamation--drainage control, weeds, old equipment, access control <br />*Bonding: Current bond is $2,500 held by DMG <br />*Transfer of mining/reclamation plan to Garfield County <br />*MCR Mining Claims <br />Status of Lower West Quarry: <br />*Non-use since 1992, Mining equipment removed, some miscellaneous <br />equipment and barrels still present. Roads usable, scales still <br />present. <br />*Effects and status of Mid-Continent Bankruptcy. <br />*Disposal of Fines and HLM requirements: <br />*March 14 letter, <br />*Clean-up and stabilization needs: <br />hydraulic oil spills, <br />weeds <br />drainage control & slope stabilization <br />re-vegetation <br />*Reclamation--1996 & Interim Plans, Long Term. <br />*Bonding: Current status is $7,000 held by DMG <br />Additional Needs. <br />*IBLA Appeal and MCR mining claims <br />*Access--BLM needs key to gate <br />DMG Requirements: <br />
