The cover standard was set at 30 percent <br />in order to fulfill the Rule 4.15.10 requirements. <br />' This reclaimed area has a mixture of native perennial graminoid and shrub species <br />typical of a Pinon-Juniper vegetation community within this region. The revegetated area <br />' is aself-regenerating and permanent vegetation community in the later stages of <br />succession, as illustrated by its extensive native shrub component. <br />' Based on quantitative sampling performed at the La Plata No. 1 Mine in July of 2003, it <br />is evident that a successful and permanent vegetation cover of the same seasonal vaziety <br />native to the area has been established.
