BANTA, Director <br />November 18, 1988 <br />Mr. Dale Larsen <br />Peerless Resources, Inc. <br />5528 Indian Rock Road <br />Salt Lake City, Utah 84117 <br />RE: Board Revocation of Coal Gulch Mine Permit (C-84-067) <br />Dear Mr. Larsen: <br />As ordered by the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board on September 21, 1988 <br />and reaffirmed at the formal hearing yesterday, November 15, 1988, the coal <br />mining and reclamation permit issued to Peerless Resources, Inc. for the coal <br />Gulch Mine (C-84-067) has been revoked. <br />The implications of this action are as follows. Peerless Resources, Inc. may <br />not conduct any surface coal mining operations as defined by CRS <br />34-33-103-(2b~and Rule 1.04(132). Peerless Resources, Inc. may not sell or <br />cause coal to be removed from the site. No other entity or person (including <br />current or former employees) may conduct surface coal mining operations or <br />sell or cause coal to be removed from the site. Peerless Resources may not <br />cause further disturbance at the site related to surface coal mining <br />operations. <br />Non-compliance with these terms would be a violation of a Board order and <br />construed to be mining without a permit.
