<br />It was MOVED that the full $10,000 civil penalty be collected, that the matter
<br />be turned over to the Attorney General's Office for that purpose. SECONDED and
<br />PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.
<br />AGBNDA ITEM 8 - FORMAL PUBLIC HEARING, FRED L. KORINEK FILE N0. 79-131
<br />All persons wishing to give testimony in this matter were sworn by the Chairman.
<br />Staff presentation was made by Reclamation Specialist Supervisor, Joe Zalkind,
<br />regarding an operation where the Board had previously assessed a civil penalty
<br />in the amount of $7,500 with all but $1,500 suspended upon completion of bond
<br />submittal and the $1,500 to be considered by the Board for suspension upon
<br />P1r. Korinek's submittal of a plan for reclamation of the disturbed areas outside
<br />of the permitted area. Ptr. Korinek 11as submitted a reclamation plan for these
<br />areas. Reclamation plan was outlined for the Board by Plark Loye.
<br />Comments were heard from PSr. Korinek.

<br />It was PIOVED that the Bo aid accept Fred Korinek 's reclamation plan in lieu of
<br />the $1,500 civil penalty, with the reclamation work being monitored by the staff.
