~RFCF~~
NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF o~~,;,; ~/( ~B ~~
RECLAMATION AND REQUEST FOR RELEAS`~al~F
RECLAMATION RESPOSIBILTY asd'~
Leo
iog~
Under rule 4.16.1, comes now Deadwood Gulch Mining Company, a
D.M.O., permit no. M-986-076, and requests a release of 29,362.5 sq. ft.
from the NE top portion of the current 9.9 acres of permitted area. The
29,362.5 sq. ft. will be transferred to the bottom "southern boundary" of the
9.9 acre permitted area, in another amendment to be filed after approval of
the request, which is recommended to be done by Bob Oswald, mine
inspector, out of the Durango office.
1. I, James Bender, operator of D.G.M.C. do believe all requirements of the act,
rules, and regulations and the approved reclamation plan, have been
completed with respect to the aforementioned 29,362.5 sq. ft. or .674 acres.
2. The area in consideration has never been worked, nor disturbed, by myself,
nor Bob Hill, the previous operator, nor by Northern Minerals, the operator
before Bob Hill.
3. Bill Bums, Incas Mines Inc., is the owner of record of the affected land. His
address is 21677 Mountsfield Drive, Golden, CO 80401-9433, phone (303)
526-0727. Enclosed in this document is a notice and proof of mailing to
Bill Burns.
4. It is believed the existing reclamation plan, post mining use, and financial
warranty amount are appropriate and adequate in light of a request for bond
reduction following this approval.
5. If an exchange were to occur, the new acreage would be the same as that
which is being considered here.
6. This request is only to release acreage from the NW top of the 9.9 acre
permitted area, to be transferred to the bottom southern end of the 9.9 acre
permitted area.
7. Please find enclosed with this document all notices as required in rule 1.6.2
and 7.2.10. Also enclosed map, site plan 2, figure 4, 1999 revision, by Bob
Hil] 1999, revised by Brian Bond, Geological Engineer on 07/02/03. This
map shows building changes for La Plata County planing, and it will be used
for the same again on the following amendment, after this request is approved.
It is being submitted at this time to show proposed boundary change at the
NW top of the 9.9 acre permitted area boundary.
