Gunnison Mine No. 1, File No. C-80-007 <br />Dear Mr. Conn: <br />The Division has conducted an initial adequacy review of Technical Revision 55 <br />which addresses mining of the 8-Seam and an incidental boundary change of 35.5 <br />acres. The review is complete except with regard to subsidence stability <br />issues and a final examination of submitted maps. These last two issues will <br />be addressed as soon as possible and an additional adequacy letter forwarded <br />to allow West Elk Coal Company (WECC) time to respond. Listed below are <br />general and hydrology adequacy issues that require clarification. Minor <br />editing and deletion problems are listed first, followed by a section of more <br />general questions. Hydrology related questions are organized together in the <br />last section. <br />General Observation <br />A. The following issues represent simple editing mistakes. <br />Please submit revised pages that correct these mistakes. <br />Revised page 2-499 does not have deltas (" O ") <br />inserted at correct locations in Equations 1 and 2 or <br />in the narrative below. <br />2.
