Banta, <br />Division Dirac(or <br />July 2, 1991 <br />Dear <br />Pursuant to Title 33, Article 34, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division. hereby issues notice <br />that on June 4, 1991, an application for renewal of a valid, existing permit <br />to conduct coal mining operations, Permit No. C-81-028, by Coors Energy <br />Company, P.O. Box 467, Golden, Colorado 80402, was deemed complete for the <br />purposed of filing. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act <br />and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to continue conducting surface coal mining operations <br />at the Keenesburg Mine which is located 7 miles north of Keenesburg, accessed <br />by Weld County Road 59. The permit area is within Sections 25, 26, 35 and 36, <br />Township 3 North, Range 64 West, 6th Prime Meridian, in Weld County. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on U.S.G.S. 7.5 minute Quadrangle <br />maps "Klug Ranch" and "Tampa." A copy of the application is available for <br />public inspection at the Town Hall in Keenesburg, Colorado. Written comments, <br />objections or requests for an informal conference on the application may be <br />submitted to, and additional information obtained from, the Colorado Mined <br />Land Reclamation Division, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado <br />80203, (303) 866-3567.
