Reorientation of the West Pit Ditch to a more southeast to northwest direction <br />(would reduce the steep southern slopes of this drainage) and replacement of a similarly oriented <br />drainage in Section 9 (would generate backfill material for nearby areas of deficient fill) would <br />better approximate premining drainage patterns. <br />Again, Colowyo is to be commended for the progress made in this challenging undertaking. <br />However, the conclusion of this review is that the proposed postmining topographical features of <br />the West Pit mining area require reconfiguration in order to better meet the approximate original <br />contour requirements of the roles. <br />Please call me if you have any questions. <br />Yours truly, <br />ByrorfG.
