10. Ben Urbonas recommended that if an alternative plan that was responsive to UDFCD's and
Ken McIntosh's concerns, as well as consistent with the future operation of the reservoirs by
Denver Water, could not be achieved by the group quickly, moving forward with
implementing the current Howe Pit reclamation plan would make the most sense. UFDCD
would want agroup-approved alternative plan to be let for bid by no later than December
2001.
11. ICON will refine Altemative 1 with more detail.
12. Denver Water will pursue the possibility of multiple spillways joining the ponds, similar to
ICON's Alternative 2.
13. The next meeting was scheduled for August 29th at 9:00 AM at the UDFCD.
14. It was requested that individuals with specific project priorities, or design goals, email them
to Bryan Kohlenberg (BWK@UDFCD.or~) within the next week.

--- END OF MEETING---
To the best of my knowledge, these minutes are a factual account of the business conducted, the
discussions that took place, and the decisions that were reached at the subject meeting.
