Long <br />D rvision Direau~ <br />Pursuant to Rule 5.03.2 of the Colorado Rules and Regulations for <br />Coal Mining, the Division must notify all owners and controllers of <br />the American Shield Coal Company that a Failure to Abate Cessation <br />Order (FTACO) was issued at the Fruita Mines (C-93-155). <br />Cessation Order C-93-158 was written for failure to abate Notice of <br />Violation C-91-024 to backfill and grade the upper bench area so <br />the highwalls are completely eliminated. The abatement due date <br />was December 14, 1993.
