(applicant) request for partial Phase III Bond Release (SL-OS) for the <br />North Thompson Creek Mine. Cindy Dean, Realty Specialist, participated in a review of <br />reclamation activities in the North Thompson Creek Mine permit azea with Byron Walker, <br />Division of Minerals and Geology, and Henry Austin, Office of Surface Mining, on April 16, <br />2003. We confirmed that the surface disturbance affected area involves private lands. No <br />federal land is included in the area being considered for the bond release. <br />Our requirements for reclamation have been met to date, and I have no objections to the <br />proposed bond release.
