Re: Incompleteness for Permit Renewal Application
Twin Pines Mine (C-83-058)
Dear Mr. White:
As we discussed over the phone on Tuesday, September 6, 1994, the
Division has reviewed the Twin Pines permit renewal package
submitted and have found it to be incomplete for the following
reasons:
1. Under Rule 2.07.3(2) concerning the Public Notice;
a. The public notice must include either a map or
description of the exact location of the mine, showing
significant features such as towns, rivers, landmarks,
routes and streets with accurate distance measurements to
the mine and sales office. The Division suggests using
Exhibit A on page 3 of the present permit with the
deletion of the landowner information.
b. The public notice must also include the complete
address of the Division of Minerals and Geology for
public access to the renewal application.
c. The exact boundaries of both the mine and sales area
need to be described. Please include this information.
2. Under Rule 2.08.5(2) concerning Renewal Applications;
a. The Division requests that two additional copies of
the renewal application be submitted for a total of three
copies. Two copies will be inserted in the two copies of
the permit application on file in the Division, and one
is for the working file of the specialist.
