C-81-010
Minor Revision MR-161, Derringer Pit Dragline Tub Assembly
Dear Mr. I{aldenbach:
This minor revision application is submitted to request approval to construct a dragline tub
assembly pad for the Molly Brown drdgline at the north end of Demnger pit. To facilitate this
request, enclosed are two copies of revised permit application page 3-184, a plan view drawing of
the assembly site, and a revision application form. Additionally, a page is enclosed (page 4 of 5
of Appendix A Table A-1) outlining the estimated increase in bonding costs to remove and
dispose of the materials associated with the tub assembly. This Table A-1 page is infomrational
only with this revision, however, the page will be included with the Snal PR-4 bond estimate.
Comparing the estimated additional bonding cost to remove and dispose of Molly Brown
dragline tub assembly wastes ($18,700) against the additional bond held by Trapper above the
amount required to reclaim a worst case disturbance scenario ($208,111), existing bond is cleazly
sufficient to cover this proposed activity.
Please contact me if you have any questions or wncems.
Sincerely~~~
~s~~' f~
Forrest Luke
Environmental Manager
FVL
[MR-161CLdocl
Encl
c John Husband, BLM, w/rnc
File 109.2.3.4, w/eoc
Revisions notebook w/rnc
P.0.
