This revision modifies the post-mining topography as <br />a resua of the early cessation of mining aclNAles. It also reduces the <br />bond liahllity by removing previousty approved mining activities that <br />were not Implemented due to mine shut down. The DNision continues <br />to hold -a reclamalfon bond in the amount of $2,400,000.00 that ez- <br />ceedsthe estimated reclamation cost estimate of $2,387,682.00. <br />The Lorencflo Canyon Mine d a surface coal mine located in Las Ani- <br />mas County, approximatey 3 miVes west of Segundo on Hwy r2. <br />Coal interest is private, antl the surface aaedetl is Private land. The <br />permit area encompasses approximately 3,142.00 acres. <br />This proposed decision "s basetl on a finding that the proposetl oper- <br />atbn wiN comply with all requirements of the Colorado Surtace Coal <br />Mining Redamatlon Act, Section 3433-701, et seq.. C.R.S., antl the <br />re9ulatbns promulgated thereunder. <br />Copies of the proposed decision, Including stipulations, are on file for ' <br />public inspection at the Colorado Division OI Minerals antl Geology <br />Room 215, Centennial Building, 1373 Sherman Street, Denver, Colo- <br />ratlo 80203.
