Long <br />Division Duecior <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology will conduct a bond release inspection of the Energy Mine No. 3 <br />on June 18, L 998, at 8:00 a.m. All parties should meet at the Middle Creek shop at the mine site on Routt <br />County Road No. 33. The purpose of the inspection will be to evaluate reclamation at the site. Rule <br />3.03.2 (2) of the Rules and regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board requires you be <br />notified prior to the inspection, so that you may attend the inspection. <br />There are hvo permanent ponds existing on the site. One is located North of Routt County Road No. 33, <br />and is permitted under NPDES permit COG-850013, outfall OOIA. The other pond is located South of <br />Routt County Road No. 33, and is permitted under NPDES permit CO-2714, outfall OIOA. Both ponds <br />hold water yeaz round and are fed by spoil springs. <br />Please contact me at (303) 866-4944 should you choose to attend the inspection.
