Box 546 <br />Nucla, CO 81424 <br />RE: INTENT TO SEEK BOND RELEASE <br />Dear Sir /Madam: <br />On November 19, 1992, Western Fuels- Colorado, A Limited Liability Company applied to Colorado <br />Division of Minerals and Geology (CDMG) for a technical revision to the New Horizon Mine Permit No. <br />C -81 -006. The application requested an incidental permit boundary change by excluding 14.2 acres <br />from the permit boundary in the SWV.SEY. of Section 25, T47N, R16W. The area generally lies west <br />of the Nucla landfill and east of Road 2650. The application was approved by CDMG on February 3, <br />1993. The arewin question is jointly owned by Montrose County and San Miguel County. <br />Western Fuels- Colorado, A Limited Liability Company is now applying to CDMG for bond liability <br />release for the 14.2 acres of land.
