Smaller <br />amounts of squirrel tail (Sitanion hystrix), Kentucky bluegrass (Poe <br />pratensis), sedge (Carex spp.), needle and thread grass (Stipa co =te) <br />and- Junegrass (Koeleria cristata) are the grass or grasslike plants <br />present. Small clumps of Gambel oz_4 (Quercus gambelii) and American <br />plum (Prunus americana) are the shrubby plants present. Annual weeds <br />rake up a sr-all percent of the composition. <br />Areas of the pit that are apparently pined out have been reseeded. <br />The host abundant species present is yellow sweetclover. Smril amounts <br />of crested wheatgrass (ARropyron desertorum), smooth brome (Bronus <br />inercds), orchardgrass (Dactylis Rlomerata) and slender wbeatgrass <br />(ARropyron trachycaulun) are present.
