Mount, Senior Environmental Protection Specialist ~~ ~ CX~r'r'~ <br />RE: Logan County, Kokes Gravel Pit (formerly Melvin Kokes Pit), Permit No. M-1978-249 <br />Please be advised that on October 25, 2001, Logan County, whose address and telephone number are 315 Main <br />St., Sterling, CO 80751; (970) 522-0888, Sled an application to convert M-1978-249, Kokes Gravel Pit <br />(formerly Melvin Kokes Pit), a 110(c) Limited Impact Construction Materials Pemut to a 112(c) Regular <br />Construction Materials Permit. The mining and reclamation operation is located at or near Section 34, Township <br />12N, Range 49W, 6th Prime Meridian, in Logan County. The application decision is scheduled for January 23, <br />2002. <br />A copy of the application is available for review at the Logan County Clerk & Recorder's office and at the office <br />of the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203. <br />If you desire to make commems or objections, they must be submitted within twenty (20) days of the date of the <br />newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review process by the Division. You should contact <br />the applicant for the newspaper publication date. If we do na[ receive your comments or any objection by the end <br />of the public comment period, the Office will assume you have no objection or comment to the proposed activity. <br />
