The
purpose of the instrumentation and associated enclosure is to monitor movement associated with Monument
Dam and Minnesota Reservoir and the landslide located on the south (left) abutment of the dam. The skid
mounted steel building, with steel floor, will be approximately 10' wide, 10' long, and 10.5' high. Associated
with the enclosure will be a solar panel and antenna installed on the roof. It is planned that the building will be
situated at an approximate elevation of 8,040 feet ASL.
Currently, access to the site will be via an existing light-use road. The site location is located on MCC private
property. Agate will be installed where the road intersects with USFS Road 711.2B, (Jumbo Mountain Road).
Please notify me with the Division's bond liability estimate so that arrangements can be made should the
estimate exceed the current total bond amount of $12,000,000.00. If you have questions regarding this minor
revision and information please call me at (970) 929-2238.
Si rely, L~~~""~"L
enry B r e
Environm ntal Engineer
Enclosures: Minnesota Reservoir Robotic Total Station Enclosure Location; Specifications for Minnesota
Reservoir Robotic Total Station.
cc: P.
