The area at
the South end of the quarry has been backfilled and topsoiled.
Seeding will take place this spring.
- Sixty-eight acres are included in the total current distur-
bance on site. The plant site is approximately 10 acres. The
North quarry area is about 26 acres. The stockpile at the South
end of the quarry is being moved to the location marked future
stockpile at this time. The South quarry area is approximately
32 acres. Much of this area has not been disturbed but is
included in the 68 acre estimate.
In order to topsoil the entire 68 acres at a 12 inch depth,
109,707 cubic yards of growth medium are required.
The stockpile located at the South end of the quarry contains
200,000 tons of material. Using a conversion factor of 1.6 tons
per cubic yard, there are 125,000 cubic yards of growth medium on
site .
~~
b
't'i. i~~ ~,:l:SJ
...
. .~
t.i ., .. ~
Enpineerinp & Environmental Services

..• .
~d.
