The enclosed drawing number 5-048
shows the general arrangement of the sampling system and the
framing and foundation plan for the building.
The concrete foundation for the building consists of a six
inch slab with thickened sections under each column. The
reclamation estimate for the building is as follows:
Structural Demolition
- Building 21.9 X 14.5 X 20 @ $0.24/CF $ 1524
- Concrete Slab 10 CY @ $ 76/CY 760
Total Reclamation Estimate 2284
As we recently discussed, the difference between the current
reclamation estimate for the mine and the corresponding reclamation
bond is $2600 which is adequate to allow for the reclamation cost
of the coal sampling system.
I will incorporate the revised reclamation figures for the
sampling system into my response to the adequacy issues for
technical revision number 09. Therefore, after TR-09 is approved,
the reclamation bond will be increased to provide for, among other
items, the reclamation of the sampling system.
Please call if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
G.-J ~izw~~
Jim Stover, P.E.
Consulting Engineer
cc: Basil Bear
