Long, <br />Division Direnor <br />We have received your technical revision application to revise your permit <br />(File No. C-81-025) to conduct coal mining in Colorado. Our initial review <br />indicates that all preliminary items required by the Colorado Surface Coal <br />Mining Reclamation Act, C.R.S. 34-33-101 et sec., have been submitted; thus <br />your technical revision appiication has been deemed complete for the purposes <br />of filing on the above date. All review and comment periods as provided in <br />the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this date of <br />filing. <br />A copy of the technical revision application, less any confidential <br />information, must be filed for public inspection with the Pitkin County <br />Planner or Clerk and Recorder. Any subsequent changes or additions must also <br />be made in this copy. <br />The proposed newspaper advertisement submitted with the application has been <br />found to be satisfactory. You should commence publication of this <br />advertisement as specified in Ruie 2.07.3.(2) of the Regulations with the <br />exception that the publication need only be run once, and reference to the <br />informal conference specified in Rule 2.07.3(2>(d> should be deleted. Proof <br />of the publication of the advertisement must be filed with the Division as <br />soon as available after the publication date. <br />The staff is currently reviewing your technical revision application to <br />determine whether the items you have submitted are adequate in terms of <br />meeting the requirements for purposes of adequacy. You will be notified as to <br />the Division's findings of adequacy or inadequacy of your revision <br />application.
