Dept. of Natural Resources
Cooley Gravel Company has conducted an in house review of
our reclamation efforts to date and requests the Boards
consideration of partial release of bond on the top four east
facing benches in the north quarry. The enclosed map more
clearly defines this area.
The reclamation appears to have been successful as is
evidenced by good stands of perennial grasses. The tree and
I shrub species have been weaned from the drip irrigation system.
We lost a few the first season without water but in general they
are doing well and have put on good growth this year. We feel
that this area is doing exceptionally well and is ready for
release. We look foreward to the opportunity to show it to you.
Please contact me so that we can arrange a time for your
site visit.
Sincerely,
COOLEY~GpRAVEL C~OiMPANY
Kathleen K.
