Aggregate Source -Objection Letters -Permit No. M-77-193
Dear Mr. Flick:
I have attached copies of all letters of objection to the recent amendment application submitted by
T.H.E. Aggregate Source.
As you will note, the bulk of the concerns involve noise and dust control as well as visual impacts.
These concerns are not within the statutory authority of the Division of Minerals & Geology.
Concerns for dust control have been forwarded to the Colorado Department of Health, Air Quality
Control Division. Other concerns which DMG has asked T.H.E. to address are the potential for
offsite impacts, due to blasting, and minimization of possible impacts, due to storm~vater runoff.
T.H.E. is also currently in the process of resolving the blasting concerns.
T.H.E. will appear before the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board during the April 24-25,
1996 Meeting to address requirements for stormwater management.
Please call me at (303) 866-3567, if you have any further questions.
Sincerely,
'~~~~i!'rar
J Thomas A.
