LEGAL NOTICE
WALDEN COAL COMPANY, P.O. Box 229, Boulder, Colorado,
80306, [phone], has filed with the Colorado Mined Land
Reclamation Division, an application for a technical revision to
obtain approval of a permanent gully and to reduce the bond
amount to reflect actual remaining work. The legal description
of the affected land is as follows: S1/2, SE1/4 Section 7 and
N1/2, NE1/4 Section 18, T9N, R78W, Jackson County, CO. The
surface of the permit area is owned by Ida Peep.
The map (described below) indicates the town, water
bodies, local landmarks, and routes necessary to readily
identify the permit area. The post-mining land use of the
affected land is rangeland.

the described area of the operation which is located
approximately 5 miles northeast of Walden, Colorado on Jackson
County Road 19. A copy of the application is available for
public inspection at the Jackson County Courthouse, Walden,
