<br />LEGAL NOTICE <br />WALDEN COAL COMPANY, P.O. Box 229, Boulder, Colorado, <br />80306, (303) 444-2151, has filed with the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division, an application for a technical revision to <br />obtain approval of a permanent gully and to reduce the bond <br />amount to reflect actual remaining work. The legal description <br />of the affected land is as follows: S1/2, SE1/4 Section 7 and <br />N1/2, NE1/4 Section 18, T9N, R78W, Jackson County, CO. The <br />surface of the permit area is owned by Ida Peep. <br />The map (described below) indicates the town, water <br />bodies, local landmarks, and routes necessary to readily <br />identify the permit area. The post-mining land use of the <br />affected land is rangeland. <br />U.S.G.S. 7.5 minute quadrangle map Eagle Hill contains <br />the described area of the operation which is located <br />approximately 5 miles northeast of Walden, Colorado on Jackson <br />County Road 19.
