PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Terror Creek Company, 1840 Highway 133, Paonia, Colorado, 81428, <br />has submitted an application for a technical revision to the <br />Division of Minerals and Geology, for its mining permit No. C-83- <br />059. The proposed revision will incorporate the results of a plant <br />growth media survey into the permit. <br />The Terror Creek Loadout is located immediately south of old <br />Highway 133 and immediately south of Bowie, Colorado. The Denver <br />and Rio Grande Western Railroad and the North Fork of the Gunnison <br />River are located south of the Loadout. The Mine permit area is <br />located on the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Bowie Quadrangle <br />map within the following sections. <br />Township 13 South, Ranae 91 West, 6th P.M. <br />Section 15: E/2NE/4SW/4 south of State Highway 133 <br />and the NE/4SE/4 north of the railroad <br />and south of State Highway 133 <br />Containing 20 acres more or less. <br />The surface of the permit area is owned by Terror Creek Company and <br />the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad Company. <br />A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the <br />Delta County Clerk and Recorder's office, 5th and Palmer, Delta <br />Colorado, and at the offices of the Division and Minerals and <br />Geology, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO, 80203, (303~- <br />666-3567. Written comments regarding this application may be <br />submitted and additional information may be obtained from the <br />Division at the above address. <br />
