The Division has the
following comments regarding this application:
1. What is the purpose of completing these soil borings and
installing piezometers?
2. Please provide the Division a map which shows the location of
the holes to be drilled. This map does not have to be
incorporated into the permit at this time. As MCC has
committed in the application, a map should be provided to be
incorporated into the permit, following the project, to show
the location of the piezometers.
3. The Division must include reclamation costs associated with
the piezometers. Please see the attached reclamation task for
sealing the piezometers.
4. MCC should forward to the Division, within 60 days of
abandoning the drill holes, abandonment reports for the holes
not utilized as piezometers.
5. Will MCC report the data obtained from the piezometers to the
Division? How often will the piezometers be monitored and how
often will the data be forwarded to the Division?
6. The Division recommends that MCC forward to the Division
completion diagrams for the piezometers. This information
will assist the Division in completing an accurate reclamation
estimate for sealing the piezometers and to correlate the data
received with the depth of the piezometer.
°_,;, q D
