Cottony <br />Denver, Colorado 80204-4339 / / Acting Division Director <br />Re: Chambers Pit, Permit No. M-1980%/136, Technical Revision/(TR)-Ol Approval. <br />Dear Mr. Rozelle: <br />This Office has reviewed Lafarge's request for a TR to allow mining to begin in the area designated as <br />"D" for the above referenced permit. A site inspection was conducted on July 30, 2002 with mining and <br />reclamation plans reviewed. Staff is pleased to inform Lafazge that TR-Ol is approved and mining can <br />begin in this azea at your discretion. <br />Staff is awaze of paperwork in the system for a partial release request for Area "A". The inspector <br />visited that area and agrees that it is ready for release. The current bond in place will cover any <br />disturbance in "D" before the release request for "A" is processed. The bond will be addressed with the <br />release request.
