Box 51 I <br />La Junta, CO 81050 <br />Re: Receipt of 112 Construction Materials Reclamation Permit Amendment Application, Hancock Gravel <br />Pit, Permit No. M-81-279, AM - 1 <br />Dear Mr. Parker: <br />On January 22, 1997, the Division of Minerals and Geology received your 112 Construction Materials Reclamation <br />Permit Amendment application for the Hancock Gravel Pit, which is located in Otero County. All comment and <br />review periods began on January 22, 1997. The decision date for your application is scheduled for April 22, 1997. <br />Within ten (10) days after submittal, you must publish notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the loclity of <br />the proposed mining operation once a week for four (4) consecutive weeks. Immediately after the first publication, <br />mail a copy of [he notice to all owners of record of surface rights and all owners of record of lands that are within <br />200 (eet of the boundary of the affected land. Proof of notice and mailines, such as Certified Mail - Retum Receipt <br />Requested, must be submitted to [he Division of Minerals and Geology prior to the decision date.
