Enclosed are <br />responses to each unresolved issue raised by the Division in the review. <br />Reference to the artesian aquifer on page 4-15 has been removed. <br />4. Following our discussion of this proposed stipulation during the December Inspection, Grand <br />Valley Coal Company is prepazed to accept the suggested stipulation. Your explanation has <br />eliminated my concerns that the performance requiremems would not be attainatle. <br />5, 6 8t 7. Grand Valley is aware that there aze confusing and possibly contradictory sections in <br />the existing permit and permit revision. The comprehensive reorganization of the permit will be <br />undertaken during the next permit renewal. In the interim, the revegetation success and diversity <br />portions for both versions of the permit will be revised as follows. GVC has revised Pages 3-18 & 19 <br />of Volume I; as well as, Pages 3-14 & 15 of Volume VI to update the revegetation success standards <br />and species diversity standard as proposed by the Division. <br />Table 2.5-2 has been updated.
