VALCO ltas purchased the land between Stages III <br />and IV of the original application, as troll as over 100 contiguous acres <br />north of the Arkansas River. Upon contple[ion of Quiet Title suit to clear <br />up some minor discrepancies, n second amendment will be filed adding these <br />acreages. <br />In effect, this is an interim amendment being requested in tiro interest of <br />operational efficiency, Field conveyors are already in place from Stage II <br />mining. It would be extremely advantageous to rite applicant to be able <br />to mine tiro right-of-way while these conveyors are still in place, rather <br />than moving them to the Stage III area, anti then moving them back to mitre <br />tiro right-of-way. <br />A check for $212.50 is enclosed to cover fees, and is computed as follows as <br />per Rule 1.8, Amendments: <br />llasic Fee $25.00 <br />2~i,93 A ? 7.50/A $187.50 <br />• $212.50 <br />i•Ie earnestly request that this application be heard attd approved at tiro earliest <br />passible time.
