Public Notice <br />Snowcap Coal Company, P.O. Box 1430, Palisade, CO, 81526, has submitted a complete <br />application for a technical revision to the Division of Minerals and Geology for its Roadside <br />North and South Portals, mining permit No. C-8i-041. The proposed revision clarifies the <br />interim drainage control plan for the South Portal. An explanation is provided to indicate <br />how drainage will be routed to Ponds 8 and 9 until the ponds are removed. The size of <br />Pond 9 was checked to assure it will contain the flow from the interim drainage basins. <br />The Roadside mines are located approximatelythree miles northeast of Palisade, CO at the <br />Interstate 70, Cameo Exit No.46.
