Cottony
Division Direcor
Natural Resource Trustee
On May 28, 2004 the Division of Minerals and Geology approved the Amendment application submitted to the Division
on April 1, 2004, addressing the following: increasing the permiUaffected acreage to 30.5 acres.
The terms of the Amendment No. 1 approved by the Division aze hereby incorporated into Permit No. M-1984-094, All
other conditions and requirements of Permit No. M-1984-094 remain in full force and effect.
The $11,500.00 interim increase in the bond that you submitted sufficiently addresses the increased reclamation costs for
the extended acreage so an additional bond increase will not be required. The $33,114.00 existing bond amount is
adequate to complete final reclamation.
You have completed all the corrective actions set out in the Boazd Order that was issued by the Mined Land Reclamation
Board at the January 20, 2004 Boazd Hearing so the Cease and Desist Coder has been lifted and all additional Civil
Penalties have been suspended.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
0
James Drlhe /
Environmental Protection Specialist
cc: Harry Posey (e-mail) ~
Suzi Ericksen (e-mail) ./
Office of Office of Colorado
Mined Land Reclamation Active and Inactive Mines Geological Survey
