The bid has been <br />denied by the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Department of <br />the Interior and an appeal is pending. The lease number is <br />COC-49465. <br />2.03.5. See Exhibit A. <br />2.03.6. Enclosed is a copy of the Quit Claim Mineral <br />Deed from Fidel Lobato to L & L Energy, Inc. which transfers <br />the minerals and surface to the land known as the Blue Flame <br />Coal Mine. There is no pending litigation involving this <br />ownership. The Quit Claim Deed was executed on the 10th day <br />of January, 1991. <br />2.03.7(3). Not applicable. <br />2.03.9. Enclosed is a copy of the applicant's <br />Certificate of Insurance. <br />2.03.10. No other permits or licenses are needed for <br />this application. <br />2.03.12. Exhibit B is the proposed newspaper <br />advertisement that is being sent for publication in a <br />newspaper of general circulation in the area of the mine. <br />The foregoing with enclosures and exhibits is sent for review <br />in accordance with the schedule discussed at our last meeting in <br />Denver.
