Long <br />Division Director <br />The Division has issued a proposed decision to approve the renewal of a valid existing <br />permit for the Marr Strip Mine (permit No. C-80-006). Enclosed is the Colorado Division <br />of Minerals and Geology's proposed renewal decision package. Notice of the proposed <br />decision will be published in the Jackson County Star. The first publication will initiate the <br />thirty day public comment period for the Division's decision. <br />Please be aware that there are three stipulations that will apply to the approval of the new <br />permit term. Stipulations 13 and 16 are carried over from the past permit term and <br />stipulation 20 is new. These stipulations can be found in the stipulation section of the <br />"Permit Renewal Decision and rindings of Compliance. The permit term will be for five <br />years and will extent from March 20, 1991 to March 20, 1996.
