Delta Sand end Grave. •
PIT #t Amendment
M.L.R.B.# M-77-020
July 14, 7997
Exhibit S -Permanent and manmade structures
Map Exhibit C shows the locations of the permanent and
manmade structures within 200 feet of the affected lands. These
include fences, a railroad, a phone line, a private road a state
Highway, a 2 inch natural gas line and three structures near the
northeast part of the site. There are no houses within 200 feet
of the mining digline. We help maintain the fences around the
perimeter of the facility. The natural gasline runs 5 to 6 feet
west of the fence that separates the 5&R from the Black parcel.
This is approximately 70 feet from the existing lake and was
place there after mining took place. We have attached a letter
from KN Energy giving us permission to mine within 200 feet of it
for the eastern parcel. Because of the mining method used, we do
not expect to impact any structures within 200 feet of the
affected lands. The only buildings located within 200 feet of the
affected lands are near the northeast corner of the site, see the
Reclamation Plan Map. with a 50 foot setback and a 33 foot
cut/fill setback mining will be no closer that 210 feet from the
closest building. For this reason an agreement with the owners
or an engineering study is unnecessary. The deposit averages 27
feet thick there is no chance mining can affect structures
outside the permit area. The natural angle of repose for this
material is 2h to lv when wet so even if sloping was not done, a
bank failures could not cause damage to these structures.
18
