Application for Transfer of Ownership
Peabody Western Coal Company (PWCC) has applied for a transfer of ownership for the Seneca
II Mine. The new owner/operator will be Seneca Coal Company. Will you please review the
application for adequacy in terms of compliance history? I have attached a copy of the entire
application submittal for your review. Publication of the operator's intent will be today, so I
would appreciate your comments on or before July 20th.
