The items listed below correspond to the request for additional information. 1. As listed on page 2.05-2 of the revised document, seeding of the mine pit, overburden stockpilc area, and subsoil/topsoil stockpile areas were seeded in November 1989 while the sediment control disturbed area was seeded in February 1992. 2. As of this date, all of the exploration holes and groundwater monitoring wells drilled at the project site have been reclaimed. Information concerning hole location and reclamation dates and methodologies have been incorporated into the revised permit document as Exhibit 9. This includes the abandonment reports submitted to the Division in 1991 and 1993 and the two maps which show the hole locations. Page 2.05-6 of the revised document has also been revised to introduce Exhibit 9. Many of the exploration holes were drilled in 1980 and 1981. These holes were reclaimed following the drilling activities. Since than, many of the project records have been lost through the change of mine ownership and the bankruptcy proceedings which Kaiser has gone through. As a result, if there were abandonment records, we can not find them. On August S, 1993, Ms. Cathy Begej searched the Division exploration files and could not locate any abandonment records which may have been filed for the earlier drilling activities. Should you have other information in other files at the Division, please let us know. 3. A discussion of the reclamation timetable which has taken place with the dates and approximate volumes of materials has been included in the revised permit document on page 2.05-2. 4. Maps 1, 2, 4, and 6 have been updated to include a legend and all maps 1 through 6 have been certified by our P.E.
