TRAPPER MININGr INC. <br />iii iiniiiiniii iii <br />CERTIFIED #P5464054b1 <br />Mr. David Berry <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division <br />215 Centennial Bldg. <br />1313 Sherman St. <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Dear David: <br />Subject: Trapper Mining Inc. response to the <br />Division's Midterm Review of Trapper Mine C-81-010 <br />MAY 1 5 1991 <br />AAlned Land <br />Reclamation Division <br />As requested in Section V of the Divisions Midterm Review of Trapper Mine, the following information is <br />provided: <br />1) Enclosed is a copy of the Division's minor revision decision form approving American plum as an <br />acceptable species for establishment in rewns[ructed channels (Minor Revision 67 approval). <br />2) Enclosed is the Division's "Findings of Compliance for Permit Revision No. 2 and Permi[ Renewal <br />far Trapper Mine -File No. C-81-010 (4/8!88). Page 44 of this correspondence addresses the cover <br />and production standards being acceptable to the Division which satisfied stipulation no. 1 of the <br />November 23, 1982, Findings Document. Additionally, page 49 of the April 8, 1988, Findings <br />Document addresses stipulation 3's removal from the November 23, 1982, Findings Document. <br />As discussed during your May 7, 1991, inspection of Trapper Mine, stipulation 2 of our current <br />permit states a map with contour intervals not to exceed 5 feet shall be provided to the Division for <br />review and approval on an annual basis. The 5 foot interval requirement is a typographical error. <br />The correct contour interval is 10 feet as is stated and approved on page 51 of the 1988 Finding <br />Document. <br />3) Enclosed is a minor revision, with revised pages, to satisfy the new requirements of Rule 2.03.4 of <br />the CCR Cor coal mining. <br />David, I hope the information provided will satisfy the Division request for additional information as stated <br />in the Midterm Permit Review for Trapper Mine (4/8/91).
