Shuey
Page 3
April 24, 1992
Roads
I discussed the access road to the cemetery with the Gunnison
County Road and Bridge Supervisor, Marlene Crosby, phone 641-
0044. Ms. Crosby indicated that, without question, Gunnison
County would assume the maintenance responsibility for the
road to the cemetery after the mine was reclaimed. I asked
here specifically about the culvert and she did not see it as
a problem. She indicated that Gunnison County would take care
of any routine maintenance that the access road or culvert
required.
Wildlife
Page 2.04-70 was revised to provide a commitment by Somerset
Mining Company to comply with certain recommendations made by
the Division of wildlife in its Wildlife Impact Statement
dated October 1, 1992, for the coal stockpile areas. The
riparian area in Elk Creek was shown on the enclosed revised
drawing E8-3391 Sheet 3/3.
Please call if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Jim S.E.
Consulting Engineer
cc: Basil Bear
