LOng Dwn~on D~recwr On June 30, 2000, the Division received from Colorado Yampa Coal Company (CYCC) responses to the Division of Minerals and Geology (the Division, DMG) adequacy letter of June 14, 2000 pertaining to CYCC's request for a full Phase II and partial Phase III bond release a[ the Eckman Park Mine. The Division has reviewed CYCC's responses, and provides the following response, in a format responding to our original letter: 1. (a) This item has not been adequately addressed. The Division asked whether "C.W.C.C." and "C.W.C.E.C.", depicted on Map 2 ("Surface Ownership", certified 6/l7/96) were still owners of surface lands. The Division requested Eckman Park's Map 2 be revised to reflect any necessary changes. While the response ("Exhibit 2") does not list these entities as landowners, no revised Map 2 has been provided. Please provide a revised Map 2 for the Eckman Park mine. 1. (b) This item has not been adequately addressed. The Division asked whether "Middle Creek Subdivision" and "Hanley John et ux" were still owners of surface lands. The Division requested Map 2 and the permit be revised to reflect any necessary changes. While the response ("Exhibit 2") does not list these entities as landowners, no revised Map 2 has been provided, nor have any associated replacement permit pages. Please provide a revised Map 2, and any necessary replacement permit pages.
