This is the fifth monthly report
as required under the approved TR.
During The reporting period preparations were made to install an adit seal in the 9360 adit and continuation of
discussions regarding approval of the related Technical Revision to the project DMG Reclamation Permit.
We continue to control and managemenT seepage water emanating from the adit. All seepage flows were
directed into the infiltration trench with flow rates well below the 30 gpm threshold. Trench Flerforinance
continues to meet or exceed expectations. Two (2) vadose zone piezometers adjacent to the infiltration
trench were installed in late February and monitoring of the two sites were initiated per the Technical Revision
approval conditions. No problems with vadose zone water next to the trench were observed; monitoring data
is attached with other monitoring data for the trench and adit flows.
We will be preparing a response to your remaining comments on the Technical Revision covering instal:ation
and performance monitoring of the plug.
One water quality sample was taken during the report period on March 3. Analytical data are attached.
Thank you for your time and attention on this matter.
