The minor revision involves the modification
of the contour furrow's outline in the existing permit application. Included with this transmittal
are three copies of the following:
MR-20 Application Form
Summary of Revisions and Additions
Revised Permit Text
The existing reclamation plan states that for slopes greater than 4H:1V the contour furrows will
be established a[ gradients ranging from 0.1 to 0.5 percent and will route minor surface flow to
designed permanent drainage ways. In an effort to retain runoff on the slopes to promote
revegetation efforts, Kerr proposed to change the contour furrows to closed features established
at flat or minimal grades. In addition, [his will reduce runoff to the existing permanent drainage
ways, encouraging rapid vegetation establishment thereby strengthening the design feature of the
erosion control matting (Enkamat).
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or if I can provide further clarification or
submit additional information that will facilitate your review.
Sincerely,
TerraMatrix Inc.
.~~- ~ ~
Thomas E.
