Telephone Memo:
Mr. Bob Leachman of U.S.F & W.S. called me regarding Foidel Creek Mine, TR-28. He
requested additional information regarding this revision. The increase in production associated
with this revision is expected to increase mine water consumption as well. Due to this
USF&WS will make the fnding that there may be an affect upon T & E species, and DMG
should request OSM to make determination on what depletion impact will be. He also had
some question on what was the correct depletion volume. He will send a letter to us by P,pril
19, 1997. Endangered Species Act allows them 30 days to respond.
